Tails of the North Inc. is a foster-based registered charitable organization, dedicated to helping rescue dogs find their forever homes.
All dogs at Tails of the North Inc. Dog Rescue need a second chance. They have been abused, abandoned, lost and given up.

Meet Penny!
She is a 5-years old Dog de Bordeaux, boxer mix.
Look at that ridiculously cute face and regal pose! Penny was abandoned with her 9 puppies on a local St. Catharines beach. Her puppies were adopted recently with Humane Society of Greater Niagara and we partnered with them to take Penny into our care as a foster based rescue.
Penny is a quiet and reserved girl with lots of love to give. She is amazing with dogs of all sizes and cats! She is extremely sweet and a cuddle bug. Penny loves treats and is great on leash. She is learning what life is like post puppies - and loves her lamb chop toy. Its amazing to see Penny thrive in a home environment and it is clear that she was someones dog. She rarely barks and is completely nondestructive and has not had one accident. She really thinks she is a 70 lb lap dog! The perfect balance of a sweet, fun, loving girl that also loves to snooze on the couch.
